St Luke’s is a vibrant, loving and living church that exists to be a place of God’s mission, worship, and outreach in Brierfield and Reedley, sharing the love and light of Christ to all. To do God’s mission and ministry the church is funded by regular donations and offerings from its parishioners and one-off or irregular gifts from the wider community.
If God is calling you to support St Luke’s to continue God’s mission and ministry in this parish, then please consider giving your generous gifts and donations to St Luke’s.
The Scripture says, ‘Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver’. (2 Cor.9:7)
One-off or irregular gifts: These can be made by cheque or BACS. The Bank details are:
St Luke’s PCC (it is a business account).
Sort code: 05 06 21
Account number: 21035634
Gifts may be made towards the general ongoing running of the church or to be spent on particular projects. We are currently raising funds towards the purchase of new IT systems for both the church and hall buildings, and would particularly welcome any donations towards this project.
Regular donations/offerings: These are made by our regular attenders and supporters, either by setting up a regular standing order or giving cash or cheques in weekly stewardship envelopes. We welcome small or large donations, as we can all afford to give different amounts, and what we have decided in our hearts to give.
Your generous donations, gifts and offerings provide the Church with regular income towards its costs arising throughout the year to continue the mission and ministry of God.
