SCOUT EVENT

Our event with the Scouts from Pendle Primary Academy today Sunday the 24th September from 10.30 to 12.30pm was wonderful. Rain was forecast but it held off!

We had a brilliant time with the scouts. There were 12 of them, Mr Kathrada and two helpers.  Lynn and Ian were really good with the gardening. Liz said they were a great help and the litter pick was really good too and we filled the grey bin!! – The children  were really surprised at the litter they found.

Michelle made pizzas and cookies and the Scouts thanked her personally. 

BUILDING BRIDGES

Building Bridges had a great Bank Holiday Monday back in May, celebrating the King’s Coronation at St Luke’s Church We were joined by Pendle Primary School Scouts who provided scouting activity for guests to be involved with.

A day for the community to come together as part of Good Neighbours’ Week with a buffet, tours around the church, arts and crafts and conversation. Follow this link to view more photos of the day.
